I am aware of the problems with de-soldering multi-layer boards, so I went down with my dremel tool and cut lines between every single pin. This way I just had to de-solder pin by pin which was done in a quarter of an hour. I have already posted in the original thread. ...Hi,
I have already posted in the original thread. Some conclusions here:
(1) The C5 cable can be left unconnected. Seems it is not necessary for digital input.
(2) Hotplug: Connect the "Hotplug" wire to the "+5V" wire with a 1kOhm pull-up resistor. This indicates that EDID information is available and hotplug is working.
(3) I connected my display as a second monitor, and after the first start it stayed black. I just had to switch off the "display mirroring" and select the right display resolution (1680x1050 in my case), then the display came up with the right picture.JeanLuc7https://www.blogger.com/profile/08645246858118667385noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-712634145575243505.post-32034200811358799322011-03-29T14:55:58.793-04:002011-03-29T14:55:58.793-04:00Argh!
