Notepad in WINE (Ubuntu 10.04)

When I tried to save a file in Notepad under WINE, I got the following error. I thought this was pretty hilarious.

    I wonder if the next version of wine will fix this. Also I don't know how wine gets away with shipping a copy of notepad with every download of wine, unless the notepad is just a clone of Windows notepad and retooled to work in wine.
